Love 2nd Street Grill at the golf course. There’s not a lot of places in town to sit down and get a casual meal with a mixed drink! They have lots of different entertainment times, Trivia Nights, comedy night...etc. just a fun place to go to eat and meet friends!
Beautiful course views, very friendly and kind staff! Must see if you come to Walsenburg! Also a beautiful drive and stay at the lake! They also now have a coverd patio seating which is very nice for some shade! Also, the food is very good as well!
We played nine holes, great little Muni Golf Course, beautiful views. We did not eat
Husband and I were camping at the state park and saw there was a mini golf course, so we decided to check it out. Walkable from the campground loops. The staff were very friendly and the mini golf course, although not full of all the bells and whistles that you find at other mini golf courses, was one of the more technical and challenging courses we've done, and we had a great time! Views can't be beat. Had a drink and bite to eat at the restaurant afterwards, which was delicious (tacos!) and reasonably priced. We'll definitely go back the next time we're camping at Lathrop!
Fun establishment, simple but tasty menu, reasonable prices, decent pool table, awesome karaoke, and beautiful environment! Can't wait to come back and check out the golf and mini golf courses!
They allow Fling Golf. Mike Peters is a great host. We ate at the Clubhouse two weeks ago and the food was great.
This campground was by far the most quiet place we've ever camped. Arrived on a Tuesday and stayed until Sunday (spot #1). Loved the mountain views, star gazing and strolling through the state park next door. Would definitely go back!
Fun environment, good service, good food, with gluten-free options etc. Also friendly patio (bonus for me). Their gyros salad & Queso trio are my favorite! Large portions.
